Assessment
Assessment will be conducted in an open, accountable and transparent manner with particular emphasis on the aspects of fairness and equity for all.
Assessment practices will enable the student to take full advantage of credit obtained from previous study, etc. Assessment will incorporate alternative approaches to suit people who would otherwise be disadvantaged by cultural background, language ability or personal disabilities.
Students will be advised at the commencement of their program of their assessment requirements. All assessment work must be completed by due dates to be eligible for a qualification.
Awards/ Certification of Completion
To obtain an award you must have successfully completed all requirements of the qualification within the specific timeframe and have paid all fees. An award will be forwarded to your postal address shortly after successful completion of study.
If you have any outstanding fees or debt with Valtalina Recruitment , you will be forwarded a letter explaining that your award will not be issued until all amounts are paid. A lost or misplaced award can be re-issued for a small fee once the student has provided a statutory declaration.
Freedom of Information (FOI)
Requests for information under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 1992, must be lodged in writing to the Manager/Principal.
Grades
Grades are mailed to students shortly after program completion. Students are able to obtain a re-issue of grades for a small fee.

White Card in Construction
Requirement under the law for general construction induction
All people doing construction work in Queensland must have successfully completed a general safety induction course recognised by Queensland law before they start work in any construction activity.
Food Safety Supervisors Course
Under the Food Act 2006, every licensed food business in Queensland will be required to have a Food Safety Supervisor by 1st July 2008.
Valtalina Recruitment offers Food Safety Supervisors training in a convenient short course taught by industry professionals.
This course is essential for all staff who work with food products in the Hospitality, Retail, and Food Processing. Our course will inform you how to deal with food safely and responsibly. Lots of common sense techniques that will improve the knowledge of the food handler and reduce the risk of food poisoning to customers. Ensure a clean and safe working environment and learn about the most important areas that need to be monitored.
Certificate II & Certificate III & Certificate IV in Food Processing.
Certificate III is an excellent Certificate Level Course for current employees in the Food Processing Industry. Existing employees maybe eligible for Government Incentive Funding to offset the costs. Please enquire with Donna via email:- training@valtalina.com
Certificate IV in Food Processing is tailored to suit existing employees in the Food Processing Industry currently employed as Supervisors OR looking at upskilling.
Certificate II in Food Processing (Toowoomba Region)
The Commonwealth and Queensland Governments are offering Certificate II in Food Processing funding under their Productivity Placement Program Initiative. This is an excellent Entry Level Certificate empowering eligible jobseekers with a basic knowledge required for the Food Processing Industry. Jobs on offer may vary from commercial bakeries through to mill operations.
